The project

EVENTHEME is an event company specializing in event organization, entertainment, decoration, staging and equipment rental.

The project was designed to be more than a traditional corporate website.

The platform acts as:

  • a premium digital showcase;
  • a commercial catalogue;
  • a lead-generation tool;
  • an event planning entry point;
  • a content-management interface for the EVENTHEME team.

The challenge

The main challenge was turning a complex event-services business into a clear and intuitive customer journey.

EVENTHEME covers several areas:

  • event organization;
  • entertainment;
  • decoration and scenography;
  • equipment rental.

Visitors needed to quickly understand these services, explore available equipment, discover previous events and then turn their needs into a structured quote request.

At the same time, the digital identity needed to remain luxurious, cinematic and minimal.

Visual direction

The visual system is built around a dark premium aesthetic.

The main palette combines:

  • deep black;
  • off-white;
  • gold;
  • bronze;
  • event photography.

Gold is deliberately used as an accent rather than a dominant color.

It highlights important headings, buttons, prices, decorative lines and interactive states while keeping the overall interface clean and photographic.

Motion system

Animation was approached as a reusable design system rather than a collection of unrelated effects.

GSAP powers interactions such as:

  • scroll reveals;
  • transitions;
  • moderate parallax;
  • decorative movement;
  • section interactions;
  • interface motion.

A shared motion layer keeps timing and easing consistent throughout the website.

The implementation also respects prefers-reduced-motion.

When reduced motion is requested, decorative effects are removed while essential content is shown immediately.

Services

The platform presents EVENTHEME's major service areas.

Event organization

Concept creation, planning, logistics, vendor coordination, installation, dismantling and event-day coordination.

Entertainment

Activities and entertainment for children, adults, companies and institutions.

Decoration & scenography

Themed decoration, floral design, structures, lighting, table decoration and custom event environments.

Equipment rental

Furniture, lighting, sound systems, LED screens, structures, audiovisual equipment, decorative elements and special effects.

Rental catalogue

The rental area turns the website into a commercial equipment catalogue.

Product information can include:

  • photography;
  • category;
  • description;
  • technical specifications;
  • dimensions;
  • finish or color;
  • indicative price;
  • availability;
  • quantity;
  • rental period.

Visitors can also explore the catalogue using several filtering options.

Quote configurator

One of the central product features is the personalized quote configurator.

Instead of asking visitors to send a generic message, the interface guides them through their event requirements.

They can provide:

  1. event type;
  2. required services;
  3. date and time;
  4. city and venue;
  5. guest count;
  6. estimated budget;
  7. theme or atmosphere;
  8. equipment requirements;
  9. contact information.

A full summary is presented before submission.

The goal is not online payment but generating a detailed and qualified sales enquiry.

Add to quote

Services and rental products can be added directly to the visitor's quote selection.

These choices pre-fill the configurator.

This creates continuity between exploring the website and submitting an enquiry, instead of forcing visitors to remember their selections or start again.

Projects

The Realisations area showcases previous EVENTHEME work using event photography and project information.

Projects can be organized by categories such as:

  • weddings;
  • birthdays;
  • professional events;
  • institutional events;
  • children's entertainment;
  • decoration and scenography.

This section is intended to reinforce trust and communicate the company's premium positioning.

Administration

The project also includes an administration area designed to let staff manage website content without editing code.

The system covers content such as:

  • pages;
  • images;
  • videos;
  • services;
  • categories;
  • rental products;
  • pricing;
  • quote enquiries;
  • contact enquiries;
  • social links.

The current implementation can use local persistent data for previewing, with Supabase available as the production data mode when explicitly configured.

Responsive design and performance

The experience is designed for desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Important considerations include:

  • no horizontal overflow;
  • readable typography;
  • touch-friendly interfaces;
  • optimized images;
  • lazy loading;
  • deferred scripts;
  • lightweight animation;
  • Core Web Vitals.

More complex interactions also adapt to smaller screens rather than reproducing desktop behavior blindly.

SEO

The platform was designed as an acquisition channel as well as a brand website.

SEO requirements include:

  • page-specific titles;
  • meta descriptions;
  • semantic heading hierarchy;
  • clean URLs;
  • sitemap;
  • structured data;
  • image alt text;
  • internal linking;
  • optimized media.

The goal is to improve EVENTHEME's visibility for event organization, decoration and equipment-rental searches.

Technology

  • Next.js
  • React 19
  • TypeScript
  • GSAP
  • CSS Modules
  • Supabase
  • PostgreSQL
  • Supabase Authentication
  • Supabase Storage

Outcome

EVENTHEME is designed as a complete digital sales experience rather than a simple corporate site.

The visitor journey moves naturally from brand discovery to commercial intent:

Discover EVENTHEME → Explore services → Select requirements → Prepare a quote → Contact the team.

The result combines premium branding, user experience, commercial content and lead generation in one scalable platform.
